Distinguishing Characteristics
  • Each caudal ramus with five setae
  • Third segment from the end of the right antenna with a slender process which is curved and usually pointed. The process is shorter than the second segment from the end of the same antenna
  • Setae on left antenna segments 17, 19, 20, 22 with ends stiffly hooked
  • Left fifth endpopod elongate, ends with a dimpled club like expansion
  • View entire male 5th leg
  • Both processes of the left fifth exopod neither digitiform not blunt, one being distinctly falciform
  • Right fifth endopod shorter that the first segment of the exopod
  • Terminal segment of the right fifth exopod slender and elongated
  • Specimen approximately 1 to 1.3 mm long.
