| Non-native nuisance species are
on the rise and pose a serious threat to New
Hampshire's inland waters. UNH serves an important
function as a research and outreach center,
providing identification and statewide expertise
for problem species such as the zebra mussel and
water milfoil. UNH extension also serves as a
national and regional hub providing information and
technical assistance on how to control the spread
of nuisance species. |
