Unknown Eggs |
Clusters of unknown invertebrate eggs. Macroscopically appeared as a whitish lump ~ 2 mm in diameter, sitting on or attached to a shallow (5 cm deep) substrate at Merrymeeting Marsh, Alton, NH USA. One possibility is leach eggs?

Strands of eggs can be separated from the cluster.
Egg strands are enclosed in a hyaline sheath.
Individual eggs extrude from the ends of the egg strands.
