Morphology:

||||
Mucilaginous colony with irregular branches. Spherical or ellipsoid cells, ! 10 – 20 µm, are scattered through thallus or clustered at ends of branches. Green cells may become yellow to red with
increases in carotenoid content. Reproduce asexually with autospores or biflagellate zoospores, or fractionation of
thallus. |
