Morphology:

Solitary elongate cell 15
– 150 µm long and 1.5 – 14 µm wide, tapering to
anterior and posterior ‘bristles’. Both have two or more short
‘bristles’ at their distal end.

Habitat:

||||
Can be found in empty Dinobryon loricas, the mucilage of Microcystis, and in terrestrial
soil.
