Celloniella Pascher 1929; only one species described.Order Hydrurales; Family Hydruraceae.

Morphology: |
||||
Pseudofilamentous branching thallus, globular cells separated by secreted mucilage. Produces tetrahedral zoospores (swarmers), biflagellate but with the shorter flagellum reduced to a ‘bulbous stump (Guiry 2012). |
