Morphology:

||||
Erect thallus up to 40 cm
high, attached with a small discoid holdfast.
Diplontic via spores from Plurilocular sporangia or diplohaplontic via
spores from unilocular sporangia (Ibid.).
Soft and mucilaginous, abundant branching. Epiphytic or attached to limestone (Dawes
and Mathieson 2008). |
